Hello! My name is Shannon Ash, and I am looking for a wonderful family to nanny for this summer. During the School year I live in Utah where my Husband is finishing his Masters degree in Accounting from BYU. He has an Internship this summer, and so we are going to be living in Newport this summer with my family. I am available from June 16th to August 16th. I am looking for full time work, and my pay range is between 12-25 an hour depending on the number of children. A little bit about me... Earning my Bachelors degree from BYU in Family Studies at the mere age of 20 affirms my ability to work hard. When I am passionate about something, I wont let anything stand in my way. Through educational courses such as Child Development, Infant Development, Adolescent Development, Parenting , Strengthening Marriage and Family, Developmentally Appropriate Practices, and Family Realtions I have developed a deep passion for the well-being of children and families. During the school year I live in Provo, Ut. with my husband (who is finishing up his Masters in Accounting at BYU). I work as a special education aide in a severe classroom where I teach, manage behavior, directly care for 14 precious student's needs. Directly after that job, I work at a day care where I am the infant teacher for kids 3 months old to 2 years old. I create curriculum each week in which I come up with a theme, books to read, art projects to do, fine motor activities, and gross motor activities. In my past experience I have also worked in a pre-school as an assistant teacher, nannied for 2-year-old twins, worked one on one with troubled teens, and am currently a youth Sunday School teacher at my church.
