Our baby is now going to preschool and we need to part with Norma, who was a loving nanny to our daughter. Norma used to be a preschool teacher, but also has extensive experience with infants at every age. She is CPR certified. Norma is extremely punctual and responsible (never missed a single day of work and was always right on time!), she is flexible, a good listener when it came to my daughter's specific needs, and always did more than I expected. She was also very flexible with her work hours, which we greatly appreciated! For example, when my daughter was constipated, she cooked pear and mashed it for her, and it solved a problem that we couldn't solve with more common solutions. When she saw the laundry overflow, she took care of it, even though we initially agreed she will only fold clean laundry. She always made the kitchen look great, beyond just the dirty dishes. She was observant and caring, which made our lives as working parents much easier. We hope Norma will find a nice family to transition to, and we say goodbye with much sadness.
