My name is Marly Jean, I am twenty four years old and currently working on my own art projects and have a very lenient schedule- and would love to hang out with some kids! I have taken my Early Childhood Care Course and am certified in CPR\first aid. I have four years experience working with children, and six months experience working with special needs children (which has been an incredible blessing in my life).. My experience extends from outdoor school live-in camp for kids/teens/families (specifically, YMCA Rocky Mountain outdoor school, located in Kanaskis Alberta) , to working within elementary schools as an afterschool daycare provider, to working within the club as both a team leader and a support worker, to working parties and events as an entertainer/runner of games/face-painter (I LOVE facepainting).. I am able to prepare healthy meals/snacks, with good knowledge of nutrition and creative ways to incorporate good food into childrens meals. I am a devote creative, understanding the importance of craft, art activities, dance, music and free play. I have a vehicle, but at the moment am still an N driver and can only take up to one child in my van, my van can be used for grocery runs or errands though. I am lover of the outdoors, sports and anything that gets the body moving. I am an avid gardener and plant lover, choosing to eat as much organically/locally grown food as I can; my body is my top priority, as I like to pursue a range of activities in my life and know I have the most fun doing them when I am healthy! I love to promote this lifestyle to children and make sure that I try to incorporate my passion of health into my conversations, my activities and my actions. I am a very energetic and sensitive person, excited about pursuing goals and becoming more awake to the beauty of life each day, by staying true to my own personal practices and choosing to find the lesson within each situation. I love to listen and love to care for those around me whether adult, child, animal, insect, rock or tree!
