Hello, my name is Senayet and I am currently sophomore at the University of Washington working toward a degree in Speech & Hearing Sciences and Early Childhood and Family Studies. I have worked with children and the elderly from different backgrounds, ages, stories and abilities for years. In addition, this past summer I worked as a Lead Preschool teacher and currently I work Fridays as the lead preschool teacher. Working in these diverse communities has made me understand the true care that is an absolute necessity in this line of work. I have demonstrated the ability to assist children with speech, developmental delays and physical as well. I have witnessed and helped residents heal from their psychological impairment while embedding them back into the community. I am comfortable with assisting in any way, whether it means providing support to children with behavior and/or emotional troubles or physical assistance. It’s extremely important to me to provide children with interactive activities to make them more agile.
