Hello, my name is Brookelyn & I have been running an in-home daycare for 3 years now & absolutely LOVE doing it!! It's the most gratifying job I've ever had & I truly enjoy what I do:) I love watching the children I have at my daycare progress & grow. The opportunity to be a part of that is truly a blessing. We don't have children of our own, despite wanting a big family!! Unfortunately we have complications at starting our much wanted family. So we're just waiting for God to bless us with a child we can adopt to start our family:)) We do privately foster children in need of a good home, even if temporarily. Right now I'm looking to fill 2-3 spots in my daycare, any age accepted. I provide childcare for all shifts including overnights. I also provide weekend childcare. I also do back up childcare, even if it's last minute. My rates are very flexible & I will work with you on what your family can afford. I don't have a set rate because every family's income is different. I provide almost all homemade meals every day & several healthy snacks during your child's day here including everything else your child will need throughout the day. All I ask if for you to provide diapers, wipes, formula/mother's milk, for babies & at least one change of clothes each day for children 3 & under. I provide a clean, safe, structured, comfortable, fun & loving enviornment for my daycare kids. I also make sure to give each child one on one attention every day. No child is ever left out here. I'm very hands on with the kids here & we do a lot of arts & crafts, reading, walking to the park, going to the zoo, (when the weather permits) going to the library to play in the big playroom & pick out books at least 1-2 times weekly, we play outside in my fenced in backyard, do cooking projects & several other fun things the children love doing!! We do a lot of age appropriate learning activities for the children including workbooks & flash cards to help teach the kids at each individual child's age, education level, & needs. We also encourage creativity & we're big on encouraging independence here!! We have a chore chart to introduce responsibility at an early age & they get to earn a toy once they fill their chart up with stickers. (A sticker for every chore completed) We have a big playroom here full of all kinds of toys where the kids have their playtime. I do potty training also & help with other major milestones on your child's journey through their young lives. We also teach the children manners, respect, kindness, sharing, telling the truth, proper behavior in public, responsibility, independence, etc. Also, we do children's bible study. We teach the kids about Jesus & God (age appropriate of course) However, if you'd prefer to not have your child do Bible Study or introduced to any religion that's an option too & your decision will be respected. We're not all about work, we have a ton of fun here too!! Some of the kids I've watched over the years, including children I currently have at my daycare, have loved coming here & sometimes don't want to leave at end of the day! I do have dogs that are great with the kids and very friendly. They enjoy the children's company & are extremely tolerant to young children pulling ears & so on. The kids adore them:) I'm extremely reliable & can provide several references from previous & current family clients. I am CPR & first aid certified as well & can provide a background check upon prior request.
