Hi, my name is Brigdet Njeri. I am a junior Neuroscience major aspiring to work in the medical field. Currently, I am doing a school project that demands only a fraction of my time, leaving me with a lot a spare time. I love kids and I would like to spend this spare time with them. A majority of my caregiving experience comes from volunteering at my church for over 4 years. I was involved in the nursery with kids of varying ages. While volunteering, I was initially paired with an adult worker who taught me the basics of childcare, from how to correctly hold them to changing diapers and feeding them. I enjoyed doing arts and crafts as well as acting out stories with the older kids.This was an extremely valuable experience for me, one that gives me to confidence to assure you that your children will receive the best care. Within those four years, before I left for college, I learned more than just the basics of taking care of a child, but also more importantly how to communicate with them and not just with words. I have also tutored several students around my area, from basic math to a third grader to SAT math to an 11 grader. I assure you I will accommodate your needs as best as possible.
