My name is Julie and I am a certified/ licensed dual bachelor teacher with 14 years of experience with children. I have worked with all ages pre-k to high school. Most of my children have been high needs/ special needs. I am looking to provide care in my own home. If the request is there for enough kiddos, my mother in law (16 years as a paraprofessional in the school district) will be helping me. I am CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified with level 1 and 2 background/ fingerprint clearance. Your kiddos will not just be plopped in front of a tv. They will be engaged in learning social skills, age appropriate development, art projects, reading, etc. I also offer tutoring, advocacy, IEP assistance, and behavior management skills/ strategies.
