Hello! I am a college student at San Jose State University studying Psychology. I believe I am the right candidate for this opportunity because of my sufficient childcare and morning routine experience! -I served as a mother's helper for a 2 & 5 year olds, during the mornings. I was responsible for making the kids breakfast & getting them ready for school. -Additionally, I have helped a family friend babysit 4 children ages 1.5-5 on occasional date nights. As a babysitter, I usually feed them, play games or make crafts, read and put them to bed at night or for a nap. -I have assisted elementary age children as their private tutor for about 3 years. And I have served as a volunteer at an after school program to mentor elementary age children for 1 year. As a mentor/tutor, I usually help them with their homework or tutor them in all subjects such as math, literature, and science, reading and writing skills, and fun educational projects. I strongly believe that supporting kids to continue learning academically is extremely vital. I love to encourage them to read or do other various kinds of educational activities. At the same time, it is important they have fun. There are many fun activities that your child may enjoy doing- I have plenty of ideas. -This past summer I worked for the city of Union City as a summer camp leader. I usually worked preteens/ teens ages 10-17 and often with younger kids ages 5 and up, therefore I have many ideas on how to keep your kid(s) occupied while having fun. -I also enjoy sports such as soccer, baseball and basketball, so I can encourage your child to be active as well. -I can also work with drop offs/pick ups for your child. I have a valid drivers license, proof of insurance, and great and safe driving skills. -I am also CPR & First Aid certified for adults & children/infants. I can assure you that your child would have a fun and very safe experience with me as their babysitter for the specified times you need me. The children whom I have babysat in the past always gave me great feedback that they enjoyed me as their funny and outgoing caregiver. I believe that with my strong responsible, respectful, caring, organized, creative skills, your child would have a blast!
