Sitter in Seattle, Washington

Hi! My name is Botond Katona, but everyone calls me Boti! I am Hungarian, my wife and I moved to Seattle for her new job in January and since I raised 5 sisters and I am great with kids, we decided that babysitting would be a great path to venture! We also have a goldendoodle who loves kids. We've experienced that although kids love dogs, their parents aren't always able to raise both a dog and a child all at once. This is something a lot of people have been interested in because our dog Frodo is so obedient and the most calm dog you could ever meet, that he is perfect for kids to play around with without having to have a dog of your own to take care of. Of course, Frodo is just an added bonus if your kids like dogs, but he doesn't have to go with me everywhere. In Hungary, with the help of my parents we ran a kids camp every summer and fall. We did horseback riding, crafts, general manners and etiquette, hiking, sight-seeing, water parks, and we taught them English as a second language. We had children from ages 6 to 12 for 6 weeks at a time, groups of 10. We loved our job and I miss it every day. My mother and sister are both school teachers now and so we had a lot of dedicated, child-centric people in my household growing up. I love what I do and I strive to be more than a baby-sitter, I strive to be a teacher and a role-model.
