People tell me that my name, Joy, describes my personality, and I hope that is true. I was raised in West Virginia, as a missionary in a rural culture; and I believe this gave me a good foundation to have a servant’s heart, and truly enjoy and love others. The past couple years, I have traveled as an intern to Australia and Guatemala. This has broadened my perspective on people and the world. It has also enhanced my desire to travel. When I was in Guatemala, I had the opportunity to teach 72 children English. This was very challenging, but also grew me as a individual. I have a heart for children, and I dearly love them. I have been a nanny to a number of children, and have also coached baton. I love the kids, and I have developed an understanding for the necessity of love and structure as I spend time with them. Being a nanny has always been the best job I have ever had, and I can't wait to do it again! I’m adventurous, flexible, caring, and look forward to coming alongside a loving family!
