I am a mother of two, a 3 year old energetic little girl and a 2 month old baby boy. I have been teaching in Frederick County for 4 years in a self contained special education classroom. Prior to teaching in Frederick County, I taught middle school special education in North Carolina. I have my bachelors degree in special education and I have my teaching license in Special Education and Elementary Education. I have taken a leave of absence from teaching to stay home with my children and offer reasonable but quality child care to families in the Frederick area. I have over 15 years experience working with children from newborns to teenagers, with and without disabilities and I am excited to open the doors to my home daycare. All my infant spots are currently filled at this time. I am only enrolling children ages 2 and up. I am licensed with the state of Maryland as a home daycare provider. I am first aid, CPR, SIDDS and emergency preparedness trained and certified. I have a single family home with a fenced backyard in Frederick City. My rates are fair and flexible, and including meals. I believe in a hands on, authentic approach to learning and will engage your child with age appropriate learning activities.
