I am writing this on behalf of Blanca, my nanny. I am writing because I feel the moral obligation of helping her find a new job since she was the most amazing nanny a family could have. Blanca came to our home in June of 2009, highly recommended by my family's doctor who had fell in love with her while having her at her house during the first year of her son's life. Blanca was truly a gift sent from God, she came to our home two weeks before the birth of my twin daughters, Frida and Luna and she has been with us ever since. The girls are almost four years old and are ready to start school in August, and both me and my husband have adjusted our schedules to where we can spend more time with them. For this reason, as much as it breaks my heart I feel that we no longer need Blanca. About Blanca, She is a wonderful, dependable, honest, hardworking, respectful, clean and loving woman. She is from Colombia, fluent in Spanish and speaks very little English. In the four years that she has been with us, she has only demonstrated wonderful attributes. She helped me raise my daughters to be amazing little girls. She taught them Spanish, and went out of her way to ensure their safety and to help me keep their environment and clothes clean. Even though cooking was not part of her job, she did not mind making delicious and nutritious meals when ever I could not come home on time.
