Sitter in Akron, Ohio

I have worked for several families. The most recent family I was with had an 11-year-old boy, a 15-year-old girl, and a newborn niece. I would come up with activities for the children, help them with their homework, cook them meals, pick them up from school, and clean. I have also worked with a family with an autistic child. She was five at the time. I became ABA certified in order to work as her tutor. I really loved coming up with hands on activities to help promote her learning. I worked at a community theatre, Little Theatre of Broadway as a Junior Director, helping teach children's classes. I have been involved with the youth programs at my church such as the Latchkey Program and the nursery during Vacation Bible School. I took a babysitting course in high school from Children's Hospital. I really enjoy creative projects, working outside, and field trips. I really love teaching a child something new that they can enjoy.
