Recommendations

Rokhila is trustworthy, hardworking, generous, and kind with exceptional skills and knowledge in the area of child development. I wholeheartedly recommend her as a childcare provider. Rokhila cared for my son from January 2016 - August 2017 and we’ve come to love her and her children like our own family. My son will start preschool in September and we would like to help Rokhila find another family who needs exceptional childcare and will appreciate her as much as we have. I was nervous and hesitant to hire a nanny when my son was 12 months old, after an unsuccessful trial with daycare and nanny-share. Watching how Rokhila interacted with my son immediately put me at ease—from her gentle and affectionate way of playing with him to her consistent and patient approach to feeding, diapering, and napping. As a first time mom, I relied on Rokhila’s wisdom and at the same time I appreciated how respectfully she catered my son’s care to our family’s approach. Rokhila’s own children are so kind, well-mannered, and happy. It speaks volumes to her as a mother. My son plays with her kids, eats with their family, and has blossomed socially because of the experiences they have shared. I feel confident sending my son, now 2.5 years old to preschool and this is largely because of Rokhila. She helped us teach him to eat with utensils, love his vegetables, nap in a bed, play well with other children at the playground, and say good-bye and thank you to the bus driver. She has also shared her Uzbek culture, language, amazing food, and warm sense of community and family with him, enriching his formative years in so many ways. I know how hard it is to hire someone to care for your child. For me, I took comfort in knowing that Rokhila loved my son and treated him like her own child, always thinking of his safety, health, and well-being. I remember a couple of occasions I met them at the park or playground and before they noticed me, I just watched them interact. I saw attentiveness, warmth, laughter, gentleness, joy, and fun, so much fun. And knowing that my son’s early days were filled with these things, is the greatest gift a mother can have.
