I have 40 years experience working with children newborn through grade 8. I have four grown children of my own and 2 grandchildren. I have had my own home daycare, I have had 30 plus foster children in and out of my home, most of which were newborn babies. I drove a school bus for 5 plus years and I worked for a school district for 13 years in the before and after school program. In addition to my professional background with children I also have numerous nieces and nephews with which I have spent hundreds of hours caring for. I have only one year of actual child development but I do have many certificates for training classes on various topics as well as my Para-Professional certificate. My passion and love for children can be measured by the quality of care in which I provide. My Mission Statement is, "Every child is someone's daughter, son, grandchild, niece, nephew, sister or brother and will be treated by me with the love and respect I would want my children treated with".
