My father lives with me and being able to call as needed would be great as well as stopping by before or after an activity. I always loved taking my children to the Library, the Dahl fine arts, local parks, and other fun and learning activities. I think it's good to cultivate a love of books through reading. Crafts, helping to cook, and socialization are fun and we are teaching multiple areas that help children grow w balance in their learning. Music, movement, and imagination top off the growing needs of children. Can you tell I worked for 11 years at our Head Start program? I was a supervisor for Family Services but we cross trained to help staff see how the different areas blended together. I have worked w parents whose children lived w a variety of disabilities.
