I love to laugh and smile. If you need someone to read to your kids, I have no problem doing that while using different funny voices for the characters. I have babysat (infants to elementary school-aged children), been an assistant teacher (preschool to elementary), a lead teacher (kindergarten to 5th grade) and I even had the opportunity to student teach kindergarten as a part of a course in college. When I was a Lead Teacher at an After School Program, I was sometimes with about 7-10 kids by myself so I can handle a lot of energy at one time. I am currently CPR & First Aid certified, and I had my A.C.C.T certification (Assistant Child Care Teacher) when I first started working with kids at age 16, as well as I've been trained on Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. I have also taken multiple courses related to children or teaching them throughout high school as well as in the some college I did complete. I do know some French, as I took it all throughout high school. Due to all that childcare experience, I have had numerous background checks, so it will be no problem at all to complete another. I love to be outside, and I just moved here from Wisconsin where it gets to be very cold in the winter so I appreciate the warmth even more. Swimming, hiking, riding bikes or scooters, I'm up for it. Especially when it comes to anything water related, I absolutely LOVE it. I am an athlete and I've attempted to try every sport I could for the most part growing up, basketball was the one that stuck. I own my car and have a valid license, so I have no problem driving around. Personally, when it comes to my own space I like it when it's clean and tidy, so I have no problem doing any housework. I know how to operate a washer and dryer and if I had to hand wash dishes, I wouldn't mind at all. I also have dogs, so if you have animals it isn't a big deal either. I just moved to the area and I have really flexible hours.
