Hello! I am a mother of a beautiful 9 month old daughter named Allivia. I have chosen to stay home with her while I finish up my masters degree later next year. I also take care of my three adorable step children when they are home with us on a constant bases, and although this is a large task, I love it. I love children and offer the mommy feel for children when mommy (and/or daddy) is away. A little background information about me: I am certified in adult and infant CPR. I am also first responder certified within the state of Missouri, which is great if a child has an accident other than a scratch or bruise. I am also a certified substitute teacher within the state of Missouri for children attending school (great for home schooled children or kids that need help after school). I have worked closely with nurses and can identify and treat simple aches and pains. Before I gave birth to my only daughter last November, I worked as a counselor for delinquent teenagers that were custody of the state for about a year after graduating with my bachelors degree from Columbia college in Psychology and Criminal Justice. I do not wish to make a large sum on money watching children. I really enjoy working with kids and helping them learn and grow together as individuals. If safety and security is not offered for our children, then they can not continue to grow into a productive and wonderful adult participant. Based on the age of your child, I will work with you on costs. I have no set times, any time is fine as long as we talk about it prior to the time of child care. I would like to be a nanny/babysitter to your needs. Being a parent is a special gift, and parenting for everyone is completely different. Please let me know what makes you most comfortable and what activities work best for your child. I rarely purchase sweets for our children. If you would like to request something specific for snacks, I can always work with you. We keep a lot of fruits and vegetables for snacks as it is.
