I have been a nanny for over 20 years. Most of my time has been spent with infants ,multiples and young children. I have stayed current in classes that helped me learn more about children and current events. I am CPR and first aid certified. I enjoy teaching things like sign language ,growing plants,doing crafts finger painting making collages from stuff we have collected on walks. I believe it's important for children to be outside and enjoying nature as long as weather permits they enjoy going for walks and picking up leaves to make collages. I do not mind being around I do not smoke. I do drive my own car. I also would stay on top of baby's laundry or if dishes need to be done maybe an errand that you need ran just things that would make your life easier. Coming home to a clean house after you've worked all day is great. if needed I could get your dinner started. I am flexible if you were running late or you needed me on a different day. I have a daughter who is 12 and I'm married to my husband 4/16 years. We live in Blue Springs and I do not mind driving a longer way to a job I enjoy. I don't mind part time or full time right now or maybe something that starts out part-time and turns into full-time. I have been with children who have minimal special needs. If they needed physical therapy or the doctors appointments I was happy to take them. I am comfortable with that. But I have not been trained on more severe cases. I would like to be with a family long-term and grow with the children. I think it's important that they are with one person on a consistent basis. I believe on being at Work On time and every day when scheduled. My belief is if I'm not at work you're not at work and then we both are out of our jobs. I definitely stay active and do my best to stay healthy. I am able to be on the floor go up and down stairs I do not like to always sit BUT I Love holding and loving on little ones. They need to be cuddled and talked with (and I need it also) babies bring such comfort. I am looking for something soon but a couple of months is okay. I am willing to wait for the best fit. I am a loving caring compassionate hard-working great nanny! I did not fill out the background check on myself but I'm more than willing to give you the information if you want to run one.
