Hi. I am Jessica. I have been working with children for eight years as a professional nanny, babysitter, and a year and half as a preschool teacher. My experience includes all ages, from premature twin babies to thirteen year olds. Most of my work has been with the range of newborns to three year olds. I have experience with special needs such as autism, ADD/ADHD, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy. I enjoy incorporating fun yet educational activities such as water play, nature walks, teaching sign language, reading books, and music. I am very hands on and structured. I help with homework as well. My education includes certification in pharmacy, a certification in behavioral health, and a certification in preschool teaching. I'm also half way in my bachelors in psychology. Working with children is not just a job for me. It's my passion. My long term goal is to be a child therapist. I assist in preparing meals and snacks. I also do some light cooking and some cleaning. Cleaning includes laundry, cleaning up toys, sanitizing, and the floors. My last nanny job was for a couple with a little boy. I started in May of 2016 when he was seven months old and ended in February 2017 when he was a year and four months old. They moved to Georgia and so we parted ways. We still keep in touch. I have done several date nights throughout the years as well. I am punctual, big hearted, hard working, reliable, and attentive. I also have a 7 year old daughter.
