Hi! My name is Krystle and I am interested in your nanny position. I am available live-in or live-out, 24/7. I am 27yrs old and a single mom to a 9 month old baby girl. I have lived in Austin for 10 years, and grew up in east Texas. My daughter, Emma, and I just moved into a new apartment 2 weeks ago. So even with a live in position, I am still planning on keeping my apartment. I have cats that will stay here, plus furniture I just don't want to have to move again. I practice attachment parenting, and baby led weaning. I believe in positive reinforcement and discipline techniques. I have years of experience working with children of all ages. I ran a successful in home daycare in Leander for 2 years, former preschool teacher, assistant prek teacher for a PPCD classroom for a year, have worked as a nanny for several families, and I more recently worked with two companies in Austin working with mentally disabled adults. I specialize in individuals with autism and down syndrome. I have a degree in pharmacology (which i used working at Seton in the central pharmacy, and in ICU and NICU) and i have a degree in early childhood education and development. I have no criminal history. I do not smoke or drink. I don't use inappropriate language. I am very detail oriented, clean, organized, punctual, dependable, and reliable. I enjoy cooking and pride myself on keeping a house clean, even with children running around. I don't have any family closer than several hours away, and I am hoping to find a position that allows me to bring my daughter with me, at least half of the time.
