Nice to meet you! My name is Sophie. I'm a very responsible adult child care provider living in NE Queens who is currently available to care for your family. I am honest and reliable with Christian values. I come from a big Greek family of seven. I am the oldest of the girls. As long as I can remember I have been the one entrusted by my parents to care for my younger sister and brother (who are now adults). I have also been entrusted to care for my nieces while one of my brothers and his wife were out of the country on business. I speak, read and write fluent English and Greek. I have my own car and I have full bumper-to-bumper coverage. I am willing to do light housekeeping, prepare simple meals, and run local errands for you and your family. I also held a live-in au pair position while living in Newton, MA for a family of four (Casey, 5 and Jared, 7) and their pets (large dog & canary). Occasionally helped out with meal preparation, cleaning of silverware, crystal, china and the like prior to an upcoming social affair at my employer’s home. Depending on your situation, I may be open to a part-time live-in position, if needed. I prefer that the child or children be of kindergarten age or older, and that you reside in NE Queens and/or Nassau county. I am willing to consider nearby parts of Suffolk county such as Huntington depending on the responsibilities being asked of me and the salary. Please note, due to my Christian activities I am unavailable on Wednesday afternoons into the evening hours and all day Saturdays. Also, occasionally (every six months) I am unavailable on Tuesday afternoons into the evening hours, and all day Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays too for Christian assemblies and or conventions.
