Hi my name is Kiana. I have worked in child care since January 2016. I have been babysitting for quite a few years before that. I was a lead teacher for school age and toddler at lapetite academy and a private nanny afterwards. I have had all training associated with childcare and I am first responder certified. I also have my wash iron state food handlers card. A little bit about me. I just moved down here from Seattle Washington to be with my husbands family. I have two dogs and a cat so it goes without saying I’m a animal person to the core! A few of my interests are: disneyholic, love to read, was a competitive swimmer, my fur babies, and PlayStation. I have a little sister that I helped raise as my mom is disabled. I have a extremely strong stomach so no blow out diaper or amount of vomit will ever be a problem. I can do light housework/ cooking and am more than happy to take kids places. I don’t like sitting still so I’m always looking for fun parks or places to go and things to do with my charges. My childcare style: I try to always be upbeat I don’t believe in yelling, it dose not work. ( you don’t want to be yelled at so neither do they) Talking through things in a calm manner works best and helps keep everyone calm. I know a little bit of baby ASL -just basics like food and diaper. I believe in lots of cuddles, hugs and kisses because everyone wants to feel loved. (And some days you just need hugs) I always fall I love with my charges because when you spend time with them and watch them grow you can’t help it!
