Sitter in Colonial Heights, Virginia

Hello, My name is Amanda. I just moved to Colonial Heights from NJ (15 miles from NY. So I'm a NYC supper nanny). I'm looking for my new family. My rates are flexible I let parents tell me what's in their budget I have been a professional (career choice) child care provider for the past 13.5 years with babysitting, nanny, mothers helper and teaching experience. I have cared for children ages 1month-17y and up to 6 children at once! I have a BA in early childhood education minor in special education. I have a CDA (child development associate), ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) and first aid/cpr certified, as well as a member of the INA (international nanny association). I am also the creator of Panda Nanny Time (come check us out on Facebook!) I have taught in a 2 and 3-4 year old classroom as well as a 3rd grade Sunday School class, and in a baby talk class where we teach hearing babies & their caregivers sign language! I have experience teaching how to tie shoes,ride bikes, play piano and swim and planning and supervising parties. and take care of pets (I am also a pet sitter) I am experienced with children and young adults with special needs (i'd list them all but im only allowed so many characters), children with allergies, twins and triplets, adopted children & divorced familys. I've already worked for a few celebrity families as well! What makes me different from other sitters and nannies is I love to go out on adventures (park, story time, nature walks etc) I hate just staying home watching tv all day. My style is very similar to the montessori method as I teach kids how to do things on their own instead of just doing it for them. I have plenty of references available upon request!
