Hi I'm Maddie, and I am senior level nursing student. My focus and interest is in pediatric nursing and children. I have experience sitting for several families in my hometown, and seek a steady position during school. I spent this past summer working as a nurse at a summer camp for diabetic kids. I am a type 1 diabetic myself, but this job gave me the chance to care for children and be entirely responsible for their health and success. Additionally, this gave me a wide variety of experiences regarding other medical care in children. This position and having completed my pediatric and maternity rotations has given me quite a bit of knowledge to draw from. I feel very comfortable around children and not much deters me. I hope to provide comfort and peace of mind in caring for your children!
