Hello families! I am a loving, nurturing, responsible nanny with tons of experience, knowledge, and passion for working with children. I have over six years of experience working as a camp counselor in New York. There, I learned how difficult it can be to manage the varying needs of children in diverse stages of development. I was able to master the ability to care for each child individually, while paying close attention to the needs of the group. I am therefore comfortable with more than more child at once. I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment for the children in my care. I am currently working at a day care in Palm Desert as an infancy room teacher. I also majored in Child Development; I have 9 credits in that area so far. Over time, I have developed techniques that prove useful in calming young babies, including the most restless ones. I am a firm believer of a structured day as it provides children an opportunity to follow a schedule, and have the comfort of consistency. My previous job was as a nanny for a 3-month-old boy and an 8-year-old girl. I had to leave them because I was relocating to California. I love children, enjoy their company, and find nothing is more rewarding than taking care of them. I believe in creating a positive, happy environment for children, one in which they feel protected and can thrive. I have good organizational and communication skills, which are crucial for a nanny.  I believe that routine, consistency, organization and an energetic attitude with positive teaching reinforcements are some of the key components to becoming a great nanny and asset to any family.
