Hi - My name is Jennifer and I'm currently transitioning back into working in real estate while currently spending quality time with family in Illinois(Note: reside in CA). I'm offering child care, household, and pet care services. I have always enjoyed caring for children and have been trusted as a babysitter/nanny since my years back in high school. My experience spans over 10 years. I have experience in child care as well as real estate. Most recently, there are two families I've worked consistently with for 5 years and both have welcomed a new baby boy and a sweet puppy during my time with them. It's been such a joy to share in the memories with my families. I genuinely enjoy being around and caring for children so I consider it a blessing to be able to do so while pursuing other interests. In my spare time, I tend to indulge in classic novels/books of the self-improvement genre, researching health and wellness, and stay active outdoors. Pets are an added bonus for me. I have a tortoiseshell cat companion myself that I adore and I simply adore animals all around. I believe emotional health is incredibly important and my philosophy stresses the importance of respect, open and honest communication, and creative coping mechanisms for emotions. I think that fostering an environment and a relationship where your kids feel comfortable coming to you with their thoughts, feelings, and problems is ideal. I am always interested in listening to parents take on parenting styles, beliefs, and preferred discipline methods. I'm patient, responsible, easy-going, and mature. Their emotions need to be acknowledged/validated and their bodies taught to be their sacred safe space. There is no greater compliment to me than to be someone a parent can trust to care for their children.
