Hello! I am looking to obtain a position or maybe a few different positions, for very casual childcare. I currently have a full-time position at the Salvation Army Thrift Store, so I am only available for weekday evenings, weekend evenings, and only during the day on Sundays. I do not have any current childcare references, as I have not looked after many children since my younger teen years. I can, however, give you a very wonderful character reference from my manager at the Salvation Army. I work in an environment in which I interact with many children each day. Also, in my position, I work with special needs' volunteers to complete tasks, so I hope that can tell you that I possess patience and compassion. Ideally, I would be looking for families located downtown or the north shore, as my form of transportation is my bicycle, and if need be, the public transit.
