Sitter in Hilo, Hawaii

I am a mother of four,..my oldest son is 18, my next two boys are 16 & 14, and my daughter is 13. Motherhood is an educational adventure. I love every second of it! When my daughter was about 7, she asked me to color with her, like usual I said I was busy. But I happened to see the look on her face as she said..'you're always busy mommy'. That look was of my daughter hurting. I never want my children to feel that again.., so as my daughter walked away from me, I went outside and filled a bucket with water balloons. Then I yelled..' kids, come help mommy, I need all of you please' .. and balloons away. . my 18 yr old yelled to his brother to turn on the water hose...the most fun..ever. Within an hour or so, we were all drying off in the sun,laughing,talking, just being together. It isn't just spending time with them, it's the quality of the time that matters.
