Hello! My name is Alina and I am a recent east coast transplant, trying to set some roots in the ground. I spent four years in the United States Marine Corps, completed my associates degree in Supply chain management, and have done an extensive amount of travel in between. I believe that over the past 7 years I have undeniably developed many skills, traits, and an attitude that is beneficial for children to be around. I am firm in the boundaries of others, and what they see to be right or wrong, but I am also empathetic and relateable when it comes to kids. When it comes to my experience with childcare, I not only grew up with 6 sisters (being the second oldest), but I was also the go-to neighborhood babysitter. Parents may have fought over who got Alina for Friday night :). I had an obvious hiatus while serving my time in the military, but upon completion of my first term and starting school, I became a part time nanny for 2 lovely girls. I was able to provide home work help, meal prepping assistance, rides to and from sports and school events, etc. Essentially, I was a party time mother for these kids and when the time came for me to leave, it was just as hard for me as it was them. Hopefully, this gives you an idea of my selfless dedication to servitude and being able to provide and share my positive outlook with others.
