Sitter in Athens, Georgia

I began babysitting at 15 years old, and have continued to provide child care services since. I held several babysitting jobs in high school, and can provide references for them. I spent much time volunteering during my undergraduate career at UGA at Oglethorpe Elementary and Alps Elementary. Here I tutored bilingual students and promoted academic success and literacy. Recently I helped my sister raise my niece for the two first months of her life, learning how to effectively care for a newborn with colic and acid reflux. I have experience with working with children of all ages, and feel comfortable supervising any child, or children, in need of care. I am a 23 year old graduate from the University of Georgia, where I received my B.A. in Sociology and Criminal Justice this past year. I have plans to continue on to graduate school and pursue a Master of Social Work degree. I currently bartend and waitress at The Office Sports Bar and Grill, but have plenty of weekday availability to nanny for a family in need of a part time sitter. Thank you!
