Sitter in Crete, Nebraska

Student at Doane University. Will play Volleyball in the fall. Originally from North Platte, NE. I have many years of experience with children. I started babysitting neighborhood kids in 5th grade. Then in 7th grade I started sitting for a family with one boy. Then a few years ago they had a baby girl and I have had so much fun watching them grow and learn every time I watched them. Along with them I also had the pleasure of watching many of their friends' children numerous times. During the summers I would watch up to 6 children all under the age of 9 at the same time. I am very good with children and I am very good at making sure that whatever they're doing is safe and appropriate. I like to have fun and take them to do different activities such as swimming, children's museums, libraries, parks, etc. I am an athlete and excercise is extremely important to me. Therefore I make sure that the kids will put down the tablets, phones, TVs, etc for a couple hours a day and making sure they are active for one hour. I have taken cooking classes and I am certified in CPR. I graduated in the top 1/5 of my class 42/300. I am a Bio/Chem major and I am minoring in Spanish. One aspect of me that many people would see as a disadvantage is that I have ADHD. The reason I bring this up is that I actually use my uniqueness and creativity to connect with children on a different level than they are used to from most adults. I am very passionate about children because of their wild imaginations and limitless energy. I learn so much from them and I hope that I can give your children the opportunity to learn from me as well.
