Hello my name is Jade and I am a 20 year old student. I am currently in my final year of studies at Vanier College to receive my DEC in early childhood education. I do have many years of experience working with children, from babysitting since the age of 13, babysitting family members from a young age, working at a daycamp, working in 2 daycares, completing 2 stages and on my third presently. While being still in school, I am constantly learning new techniques of how to handle challenging situations, be there in a supportive and respectful manner for the children, and learning how to entertain children in fun and creative ways to help children develop and grow. The most important thing for me is that the children feel safe and secure while feeling supported and comfortable in anything they do while having fun. I also do have my safety and first aid certificate, as well as a police check done, if wanted. A passion of mine is singing when I have the chance and using it to keep the children entertained and teach them skills. I enjoy being around people since I am an amical person and I have always enjoyed working with children since I was very young and seeing them grow.
