Hello please let me introduce myself...My name is April. I just recently moved here from Sacramento California. I have over 20 years of experience in taking care of children and the elderly. When I lived in California I was (still am) finger printed and background checked with all agencies. I am currently still a caregiver to a 70 year old elderly lady who I have been providing care for 3 years now. I work with a agency called IHSS in California. Her care wont interfere with my nanny work at all. I was also a Foster Parent for over 8 years and raised about 100 children in that 8 years , plus I have 2 children myself. Which both are grown now and on their own. I also come from a very big family. My adoptive parents did Foster Care for over 30 something years. So I grew up with several children from all makes of backgrounds and I was the oldest in the house, so I would help my mother out with all the children. So as you can see I have a huge background in children and elderly care. I am CPR certified also. I moved out to Texas cause my fiancé lives out here and I was ready to start a new journey in life.
