I am a 47 year young mom of an 18-year-old boy. I have many years of child care experience both in a daycare and private setting. I have been caring for children since my teen years. I have student taught in elementary and special needs classes. I decided to further my education when my son was of school age. I retained a position in the medical field. I missed working with children. So, I returned to child care. I have also worked caring for the elderly. There is something so rewarding about being able to nurture and help develop a young mind. I have also had the benefit of raising my own child. I believe in treating every child as if I would want someone to treat mine.
