Hello, My name is shauna, I am 25 years old. I worked at Granada preschool as an assistant teacher for 6 years, I was a nanny for my own niece and nephew for 2 years and I have watched school age children after school until their parents got off work. I love to do fun art projects with the children. My way of discipline is I will put a child on a time out if the situation calls for it, but I prefer positive encouragement so instead of being on time out all the time I try and celebrate the successes and emphasize then reward good behavior rather than constant time outs. I also make sure to explain exactly why they are on time out and also why they are getting a reward.
