Deavontae ("Dee Dee") nannied for my daughter from the time she was a baby until she was just over two years old. My daughter absolutely loved her, as did I and my husband. She is an extremely sweet and caring personality, and is simply exceptional with children. She was creative in coming up with activities, actually participated in those activities rather than just setting them up for my daughter to do on her own, and helped my daughter learn and use appropriate manners such that people always commented on her advanced level and excellent behavior for her age. Dee Dee always cleaned up at the end of the day and I always returned to a calm and happy household. In fact, most often I'd come home and find the two of them engaged in some activity - whether it be reading, coloring or crafting - together. I can't recommend Dee Dee enough, and will certainly continue reaching out to her to sit for my daughter and remain a part of our family in the future.
