Sitter in San Francisco, California

Hello new family :) I'm a twenty-five year old writer from the Bronx, NY with a B.A in English. I've recently decided to move to San Francisco and will be arriving as soon as this week! (Sep. 7th to be exact) I am actively seeking a household that I can caretake in exchange for monetary compensation and a room to stay in until I have my own. That's my NYC to SF story. Now here's a little about my childcare and housekeeping experience. I come from a large West Indian family where the adults work hard, unorthodox hours, leaving older children like myself to care for our younger cousins and siblings. I am very familiar with: -preparing meals for toddler aged children, washing & dressing them for school and outings, picking up and dropping them off at school, keeping their minds occupied, engaged and enriched with educational activities appropriate for their age group, identifying unprecedented illness in children and monitoring/communicating such situations to parents, teachers and doctors. - I'm also reviewed on Care.....! - While I am not formally trained in CPR, I am absolutely willing to obtain this certification at my time of hire. - I am naturally a very cleanly person and am fluent in the following household chores: washing dishes (with or without dishwasher), mopping hardwood floors, cleaning bathtubs/showers/toilets, laundry (per your preference), buying groceries/meal prep (per your preference), general light cleaning (i.e making beds, dusting, tidying playroom) My hobbies: Outside of writing and caring for children, I love to bake cookies, brownies and macaroni and cheese.
