Thank you for taking the time to view my profile! My name is Siobhan. I am a responsible, passionate and enthusiastic young woman with a passion for music and education. I have lots of experience in childcare. I worked with the City of Surrey leading preschool and children's day camps as well as teaching art/music/drama/specialty classes. I have also been a full-time, live-in and live-out nanny for a family with a 3-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy. I assisted them on vacations, hence the half live-in/live-out. Working for this family was the most positive experience I've had nannying to date. I've also been a live-in nanny for two girls along with occasional babysitting for a family for 7 years. Other childcare related jobs I have had is a camp leader position, a volunteer at my local library reading with kids, and I have been a pianist/accompanist for a children's choir for 4 years. This job requires that I think on my feet, improvise and entertain. I lead warm-ups, organize games and activities, and accompany them on the piano for rehearsals and concerts. I am completing my Bachelor of Music Education and Western University. I am looking for part-time work. The best days for me are Sunday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday as I don't have class those days, but I am very flexible. I'd love you hear from you if you think I would be a good fit for your family!
