I am a DONA trained postpartum doula located in Canmore, AB. As your postpartum doula, my role is to help your family through this amazing, wonderful, beautiful, awesome, sometimes overwhelming and challenging transition. What does a Postpartum Doula do??? Provide a Newborn Sleep Plan for your reference as well as give hands-on strategies, tips and education around infant sleep. Encourage your family in a compassionate, understanding and non-judgemental manner while recognizing your unique parenting style and choices. Provide ongoing breastfeeding education & support. We will make sure your feeding relationship is going smoothly, baby is latching successfully and you have a variety of comfy nursing positions that you feel comfortable with! I look forward to soothing and caring for your newborn so you can have a much needed break. How does a shower, a healthy snack & a nap sound???
