You will be amazed at how much your preschooler can learn! I teach children ages 2 and older, and even the youngest students are able to learn real songs on the piano. Lessons are 30 minutes long and include special music games designed to teach children music skills. I teach children more than just songs on the piano- they will learn about rhythm, math (through note value), the alphabet (note names), categories (learning about the different families of instruments), and more. I come right to your home, making this a great and low-key first lesson experience for your child. Though I teach children of all ages, my studio is almost full and I currently only have openings during the day. I teach Suzuki piano with sight reading and theory. I do require parents to work with children on practicing (though you do not need any prior experience). Students (even preschoolers) are invited to participate in recitals, competitions, workshops and camps.
