Sitter in Greenwood Village, Colorado

We are looking for an experienced nanny or sitter for my 2 yr old boy and baby on the way in November. I want to hire someone in late September to start slow and then more often in October and full time in November when my baby boy arrives (Nov 8th due date). Pay is by experience for what we can afford. Depending on how things go we may continue to need you full time after the baby arrives for a month or two part time. References are required and there will be a lot of one-on-one with me to begin at first to learn our family values and way of life. Azekiel is a busy bee, sweet, curious, and smart boy. He wants to learn and is fast to understand most things for his age. Creating crafts and activities for him would be ideal part of your main job. Other duties are changing diapers, potty training, cleaning up after him (toys), some laundry, his dishes, food preparations (nothing fancy) and running errands only on rare occasions. He does have a hard time with naps most of the time because he likes to be held to fall asleep. I hope this sounds interesting to you as it is what I do on the daily and enjoy it for the most part when I'm not exhausted from pregnancy. We have a German Shepherd Dog and she is friendly to people, but not with other dogs. You may need to help feed her and give her water once a day, but will never be asked to walk her outside. We live as a family together with my parents. My mother is disabled and has MS and in her case is not able to walk or use her hands or legs. We have a hired nurse most mornings to help her but my father and I are taking care of her the rest of the day and night. You need to be comfortable around her and sensitive to her needs if required when Azekiel is near her to keep them both safe. She also has a trac in her throat and oxygen tubing throughout the house. You can set your own morning or afternoon hours to start in September and October. Please be flexible to be full time if needed for the month of November when our new baby boy Asher arrives!
