Hello,my name is Assa. I studied Early Childhood Care and Education in the University of Sierra Leone.I have worked with children of all age groups and different family backgrounds in Africa.I did part of my internship with the Ministry of Health and Sanitation,Social Services and Welfare department and i also have experience as an Assistant teacher. Over the years, i have been a nanny for different families. I partly put myself through school being a nanny and i believe this was possible because i love children,therefore i tried to my best in doing my job.The reason i decided to study this course work was because i wanted to learn in depth on how to nurture and at the same time educate children on a professional level.I believe children are so important because they are the future, and as adults it is our responsibilities to do our very best to tap into the uniqueness of each child and help foster them to their full potential. Working with kids gives me joy. One of my aspirations in life is to help make a huge difference in the lives of children all over the world. I have not figured out exactly how i am going to do that yet :), but i will by the grace of God.
