Hi! My name is Sam. I just graduated with an MFA and am new to Columbia. First and foremost, kids rock. I love teaching, interacting, talking with, playing with kids. They’re just amazing humans! I have 3 years teaching experience ages 3-90 . I've lived in 3 other countries, Japan, South Korea and England so my cooking is very varied. I have babysat since I was 11, Landon my 7th grade Social Studies teacher's son. So 23 years of experience not including my little brother. I've also taught after school art programs and been a visiting artist to numerous elementary school around the world. My kid mottos is, keep them safe and let them have some fun because they're kids and they are amazing! Teaching is inbuilt into my personality and approach so kid activities are usually an explorative learning fun game or just making learning fun! As it should be.
