Hello, My name is Rebecca Kassab. I am 28 years old and currently work as the child watch and family programming Director for the East County Family YMCAs. I love my Job and the many different portals of it which include supervision of child watch and family programming staff, family event coordination, and working in ratio when needed. I began my love for working with children when i was in high school and began teaching catechism at my church for preschool aged children. As i got older, my love for working with children grew! I graduated from San Diego State University in 2014 with a bachelors degree in Liberal Arts, English and Comparative Literature. I am currently in process of my teaching credentials in hopes of becoming a High School English teacher. Things have gone very well for me in my career, but I am looking for something to do after work, so mostly nights and weekends to help a little more financially while still doing what I love. My list of experience is extensive as I began babysitting at the age of 12 years old for cousins and family friends. I am enthusiastic to create an environment that is safe, fun, inspiring and adaptive to each child's individual needs. I am a very dependable individual with Hard work ethics and hope for an opportunity to continue to provide excellent child care.
