My name is Arkena Shllaku, I have a strong passion for working with kids, as I have been a professional caregiver for over 7 years. I will be receiving my Bachelor’s of Science in May 2016 and will be pursuing a Master’s of Social Work in the fall at NYU. I pride myself on being a nurturing and compassionate nanny with a strong passion for educating and implementing healthy behaviors. Some of my job duties have consisted of homework help along with activities that varied amongst sports and other outdoor and educational activities, drop offs and pick ups, light housekeeping, errands, and food prep. My experience varies from infants to 13-year-old adolescent triplets and families of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds that enable me to better understand and adjust to family’s individual and unique needs.
