I currently care for a six month old infant, but his family's needs have changed, and the position ends June 5 (or sooner). My last position ended last December. I cared for twin boys from 7 months of age to 2 1/2 years. They are now in school. Infant/Child CPR & First Aid Certified, TB Tested. Her duties included dressing, feeding, taking the boys to activities, light housework, taking care of them when they were sick, reading / storytime, supervising indoor and outdoor play, naptime, etc. She was very adaptable as the boys grew up and their needs changed. Dana did a great job keeping the boys safe, stimulated and happy. She had a long day alone with the boys as both of us work. Therefore she had a significant amount of responsibility to manage the boys’ days, from morning activities, through lunch, naptime and afternoon activities. She took the initiative to suggest new activities for the boys to keep them entertained. She drove the boys daily to activities (park, Gymboree, etc.) in our vehicle, and she is a very careful and safe driver. Dana was very reliable and attentive to our preferences and wishes. She was also a good teacher for the boys, helping them learn what is appropriate behavior and what is not. They matured significantly while under her care. Our schedule also meant that we often don’t get to speak to Dana face-to-face on a daily basis, but she is a good communicator and left us detailed notes about the boys. We would have no hesitation in recommending Dana as a nanny and/or family assistant. She is very professional, and would be an asset for any family looking to engage her."
