Hello! We are a family of four with two small boys entering the fun world of preschool this fall. We've had a wonderful, loving nanny for 4 years who will now find herself with a few weekday mornings free and we are looking for another family interested in sharing her with us part- or full-time (at our house or your house). She has worked in the Point Loma area for over 10 years (4 of them with us), after raising her own three children in the same neighborhood that we lived in. We call her the baby whisperer bc she is so fantastic with newborns and infants, and is a warm, fun and caring teacher and care provider for older children as well. She has helped us immensely with our boys from newborn to school age, has taken them to and from school, to parks, library trips, Sea World, you name it, she's done it. Always with an amazingly positive attitude, happy as can be and just loving every minute with our boys (and other families she helps out with, too). We, too, started with her through a nanny share arrangement with another family nearby and it worked out perfectly for everyone! She has a clean DMV record, a safe SUV with room for multiple car seats and has always been flexible to our seemingly always-changing schedules, even staying late when we need her to and babysitting in the evenings, too. Basically, the best mother's helper you can imagine! Not to mention that bc she's a mother herself, she has all the right instincts and loves our children nearly as much as we do (and they love her back!). She's always on time, always thoughtful with the children and she just plain enjoys being with kids which makes us so happy to know she is caring for our boys. The family we're looking to share with would be open to a nanny share arrangement with our family (two boys, ages 3 and 4), be flexible on location (our place or yours), be willing to commit to 25 hours per week (or more), and be ready for a fun adventure with a nanny who will love your kids and treat them like her own! We live in Mission Hills so it would be preferable to partner with another Mission Hills family, but she's open to provide separate morning nanny services to families outside of the Mission Hills/Point Loma areas, so just ask! The only reason I'm posting this instead of her is that I want to, along with the other families she has worked for, shout it from the rooftops how great she is and I'm not sure she would toot her own horn as much as we like to :) I'm sure I haven't covered everything here, but please feel free to call me with any questions or for more info, or call her directly.
