Sitter Job in Madison, Tennessee

Hello there! My name is Michiel Tedford, I live in the Madison area. My daughter is nearly two coming up this November. She is a very sweet, considerate, but active and rambunctious child. We are seeking a caregiver that is patient and can accommodate Eden's level of activity. We mostly follow the R.E.I. "Respectful Parenting" model, where we treat her with all the consideration of a real person with emotions to work through, while also giving firm, polite, and reasonable boundaries. Obviously we do not condone hitting or shaming, preferring a method of refocusing and serious conversation. Both my S/O and I pick up strange shifts at work, sometimes mornings and sometimes evenings/weekends. We plan to provide our caregiver with all the necessities he/she needs while in our home, accompanying their base pay. To clarify again, we are looking for a caregiver with a ton of patience and the skills necessary to engage and work with a precocious yet very eager to learn toddler. We are a non-denominational, non-discriminatory family and are extremely open and willing to hiring someone with another cultural view, for our sake and Eden's.
