** Below is a brief Introduction ** My first love is caring for Children and I've had the pleasure of providing excellent Live/Out Childcare Services for a "host "of Families mostly through-out DC & Va. exclusively, over a 33 year span of time. My Early Childhood Education started back in High-School 1982 and has continued to grow over the years! The bulk of my Qualifications, Skills and Experience have been caring for Infants and Toddlers. My mission is to provide the best, quality of childcare possible in a way that will nurture, inspire, and serve as an example to the children that I have an opportunity to work with. Understanding and taking into account "first "and "foremost" of the Parent's expectations, desires, discipline style, wishes, communication, duties, health/safety within the house-hold, activities, daily journal, deal-breakers and any other pertinent information that the Parent's deem relevant for me to know becomes a 1st. concern as well. I teach using lots of encouragement and praise and re-direction as needed. Teaching through safe play, exploration, hands/on style; allowing for individual creativity, social, intellectual, and wholesome development for each child that I work one on one with daily; along with understanding the importance of structure, routine, free-play, self-expression, loving guidance and overall well-being & care of which I provide expeditiously. I’m familiar with Breast-fed babies, implementing sleep schedules, toilet training / routines and age appropriate activities as well.
